- We believe that
the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are inspired by God and His
complete and infallible revelation to man. It is thus the supreme
standard by which all things are to be judged, and the authoritative guide
for all faith, life and conduct. Romans 15:4; 2 Tim 3:16:17; 2 Peter 3:16; 2 Tim 2:15; Rev 22:18-19.
- We believe in the
Unity of the True and Living God Who is the Eternal, Self-existent One,
Who has revealed Himself as One Being in three Persons - Father, Son and
Holy Spirit, and Who is the Creator and Preserver of things visible and
invisible. Deut 6:4-5; Mark 12:29; Matt 28:19; Gen 1:1; Psalm
86:9-10; Isaiah 43:10-11; Col 1:16.
- We believe that
Jesus Christ is God's unique Son who, without any change to His eternal
deity, became man through conception of the Holy Spirit and virgin
birth, and is therefore truly God and man. Through Him God created
and sustains the world. Jesus suffered and died for our sins and
rose again for our salvation. He ascended into heaven where He now
sits at the right hand of the Father. Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:23; John 1:1-3,14; 14:8-9; 1 Cor 15:3-4; Hebrews
1:1-3; 1 Timothy 3:16.
- We believe in the
Holy Spirit, the Third person of the Triune Godhead. He is ever
active in convicting man of sin, leads them to repentance, creates faith
within them and regenerates and fills those who believe on the Lord
Jesus Christ as Lord. It is the
indwelling Spirit who bestows the Fruit & Gifts of the Spirit
and leads the believer into all Truth. John 14:26;John
16:7-8,13-15;Luke 11:13; Acts 1:8; 1 Cor 12:4-11.
- We believe in the
actual existence of Satan who is the father of all evil and opposed to
God, although ultimately subject to Him and His purposes, and is
destined to be confined forever to Hell. John 8:43-45; Luke
10:18; Mark 4:15; Eph 6:12; Romans 8:38-39; Matt 25:41; Rev 20:10.
- We believe that
man, created by God in His own image and with a free will, was
originally perfect and sinless, but chose to disobey God. Sin
entered the world and brought with it pervasive wickedness, death and
decay, and most importantly separation from our righteous God.
Mankind is, therefore, lost and facing judgment and only through
repentance, faith in Jesus Christ and spiritual regeneration by the Holy
Spirit can people experience forgiveness, salvation and abundant
everlasting life - all of which is the result of a restored relationship
with God that we as human beings were originally created to enjoy.
Gen.1:26-27; 2:16-17;
3:6-24; John 3:16-18; Acts 2:38-39;
17:26-31;
Rom.8:9-11,16-17,20-23; Eph.1:7,13-14.
- We believe in the
Second Coming of our Lord Jesus Christ who will return as Lord, King and
Judge. After the Day of Judgment, when Satan and all evil is
banished forever, God will make everything new and perfect again. John
14:1-3,6; 2 Peter 3:9-11; Acts 1:10-11; 1 Thess 4:16-17; Jude 14-15; Rev 20:11-15; 21:1-5.
